We Have a Winner - Er, Winners

It's been pointed out to me that I was a little unclear about the contest giveaway for the Christmas Ride clue on my blog. Some people thought there would be one winner for the blog and one winner for those who signed up for the newsletter. So to be fair, I'm going to pick one winner from the blog posts and one from the new newsletter subscribers. And I'll definitely try to be clearer about the contest rules in the future!

So from the blog posters, the winner is (drumroll please): Carlabuck Carlabuck, come on down! You get to choose either a $10 Amazon gift certificate or an iTunes gift certificate. Email me at lynn@lynnreynolds.com and let me know which one you'd like to receive.

The newsletter subscriber who wins the other $10 gift certificate (either Amazon or iTunes) is: tigger9lt. I'll be contacting you via email this weekend to find out which certificate you want.

Congratulations to both of you! For those of you who are curious about how I picked the winners - I used the highly scientific method of having my son pull a name out of his Crocodile Dundee hat (or perhaps it is now his Hugh Jackman hat). This is the same careful methodology I use to decide what story to work on next.

For anyone who didn't guess, the correct answer is: Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas.

The big Christmas Ride prize of a $75 Wild Rose Press gift certificate is still up for grabs. If you'd like to enter here's what to do:

Add this Christmas carol to your list of carols for the Christmas Ride Grand Prize. Attend each day's blog post, identify the carol, and make a complete carol list to submit after the final blog post of Christmas Eve. Don't forget to check the list twice! Send it to Christmasrideblog@live.com by midnight, CST Dec. 31st 2008!

For today's clue, visit Susanne Saville’s blog at http://myblog.susannesaville.com. And if you missed the first clue, you can go back to the first blogger's post and start from there. To do that, visit Patsy Parker at http://plparker.blogspot.com/
